In fields where they lay tending sheep
On a cold winter's that was so deep

Shining in the east, them far
And to the it gave great light
And so it both day and night

And by the of that same star
Three Wise Men came country far
To seek for a was their intent
And to follow the wherever it went

This drew nigh to the northwest
Bethlehem it took its rest
And there it did stop and stay

Between an ox and an ass
Child truly there He was
For want of clothing did Him lay
All in a manger, the hay

Sing praises to our Lord

And with His blood mankind bought

We shall be from death and hell
For God hath for us all
A resting in general
