To check and test the battery capacity, battery charging capacity and generator.
1) Connection:
Connect the red wire clip to the positive (+) battery and the black wire clip to the negative (-).
2) Check Dybamo:
Connect test equipment. Start the engine and turn off the headlights, radio, etc. Start the engine again, then turn on the headlights, radio, etc. In both cases, the green "good" LED signal should glow. If the generator is in poor condition, the red "Fault" LED signal will start to glow. If this happens, please visit your local car store as soon as possible.
3) Check the charge level:
Turn on the headlights for 1-2 minutes and then turn off. Remove the clip from the battery cable and wait for about 30 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn on the test equipment again. Depending on the battery charge status, the LED signal will glow, indicating "full", "half full" or "very low battery".
4) Starting capacity of the battery:
The battery should be fully charged. Disconnect the ignition coil, and then connect the test equipment. Try to use the key in the ignition switch to start the vehicle. The engine cannot start (the ignition is interrupted). When the green "battery normal" LED signal starts to glow, the battery charge status is "normal".
5) Starting battery charging ability:
It switches to load test mode and then starts the engine.
Full: Six LEDs will emit light;
Middle: Four to three LEDs will emit light;
Low: Two LEDs will emit light. If there is no LED, it means the battery capacity is too low. Please charge or replace the battery.
