Putting in the mouthpiece
-hold the mouthpiece so that the wider side of the curved wings is closed to your mouth
-grasp the curved handle on the mouthpiece with both hands
- slide one wing between your lips and teeth on one side so that it is touching the inside of your cheek. Don’t bite down
- bend the handle so that the other wing is closer to the one that already in your mouth
-repeat the sliding motion to insert the second wing
-release the handle once the mouthpiece is resting comfortably in your mouth
